Driver app

The app that works on the street

Deliveries and pickups are two top-level operations, each with its own list and map. It is designed to be used one-handed, with gloves on, in a hurry.

Who uses it

Drivers on route. Credentials are issued by the logistics operator: there is no open sign-up.

What it does

Deliveries and pickups

Both operations share a structure: filters on top, list or map below, and a button to switch. The map keeps its position when you go back to the list.

Proof of delivery

On-screen handwritten signature and a photo of the parcel at the delivery point. The photo documents the parcel, not the people present.

Scanner

Barcode reading with the device camera.

Cash on delivery

Amount due visible per order and collection recorded at delivery.

Incidents

The reason is recorded when a delivery fails, so the next attempt doesn’t repeat the mistake.

Offline mode

All of the above works without coverage. Events queue on the device and sync by themselves, in order, when the network returns.

About location

The app reads position only when recording an event — a delivery, a pickup, an incident — to know where it happened. There is no continuous tracking, none in the background and none with the app closed, and it is not used to assess driver performance or monitor breaks. Drivers can turn it off from their profile, and records keep working without it.

Full detail in the privacy policy

How it is distributed

The app is published on the App Store and Google Play under the Dropium brand, as a single listing. The logistics operator is identified inside the app, and brand customisation — domain, name and colours — lives in the control centre.

We don’t publish screenshots of the interface. If you want to see it working, we’ll show you in a demo.

Frequently asked questions

What if the phone loses coverage mid-route?

Nothing. The app keeps working and stores every action on the device. When the network returns it syncs by itself, in the order events happened. The driver can see at all times what is still pending upload.

Can the same device be used across shifts?

Yes. On sign-out the device is left with no orders, no addresses and no proof from the previous shift.

Which languages is it in?

Spanish, English, French, Portuguese and Italian.

Shall we see whether it fits your operation?

A thirty-minute demo on your own flow: first mile, sorting, delivery or returns.
