How it fits
The complete solution, leg by leg
Dropium is not a product you install and forget. It is a system of record on top of which three distinct tools work, each designed for a real job.
The problem isn’t moving parcels
Anyone can move parcels. What’s hard is knowing, three weeks later and facing a claim, who held a given parcel, at what time, and with what proof.
The jumps between legs
A parcel that leaves the warehouse and doesn’t appear on a driver’s route isn’t lost — it is unrecorded. Those are different problems with different fixes.
Proof you can’t find
A paper signature in a folder is no answer to a shipper. A signature attached to the delivery event, with time and position, is.
Incidents left open
A failed delivery with no recorded cause and no conclusion is a cost that comes back: it gets retried without knowing why it failed the first time.
How Dropium tackles it
With an uncomfortable but effective principle: nothing moves without leaving a trace, and the trace is captured where the work happens, not afterwards.
Captured at the point of work
The operator scans at the dock, the driver signs at the door. There is no later “data entry” phase, which is where records get lost.
One vocabulary
The state the driver sees on their phone is the one the coordinator sees in the TMS and the one exported to the shipper. No translation between layers.
It survives real conditions
Warehouses with restricted networks, basements with no signal, handhelds shared across shifts, scanners that break. All of that is designed for, not treated as an exception.
Four legs, one history
Most incidents don’t happen inside a leg — they happen in the jump from one to the next. That’s why all four share a record.
- 01
First mile
Pickup at the merchant and intake at the warehouse. The parcel is assigned to a box with anti-mix control, sealed and handed over to transport with proof.
- 02
Sorting
Each parcel is scanned and assigned to its line, box or route. Operators work with a hardware scanner or a phone camera.
- 03
Last mile
The driver sees their list and their map, delivers, captures signature and photo, collects cash on delivery and logs the incident if there is one.
- 04
Returns
Receiving the return, sending it back to the seller and transferring between warehouses, with the same proof circuit as a delivery.
Three tools, one system
Each role works with the one that fits. They share data, permissions and vocabulary.
Who it’s for
And, just as honestly, who it isn’t for.
It fits if you
- Run an owned or subcontracted fleet and need to control both the same way.
- Have at least one warehouse where parcels are sorted before delivery.
- Answer to shippers who ask you for proof of delivery and data.
- Operate, or want to operate, in more than one country and language.
It doesn’t fit if you
- Want a single-courier app with no warehouse and no sorting.
- Need a carrier marketplace: Dropium runs your fleet, it doesn’t source one.
- Need inventory warehouse management rather than parcels in transit.
